The terms that govern your use of LawyerSpot as a client seeking legal help or as a lawyer offering it. Last updated 15 July 2026.
These terms apply to anyone using the LawyerSpot app or website: clients looking for legal help, and lawyers listing their services. Creating an account means you accept these terms in full.
LawyerSpot is a marketplace that connects clients with independent, licensed lawyers. We facilitate discovery, booking, and payment for consultations.
Lawyers must provide a valid Bar Council enrollment number and supporting documents before their profile is listed. We review these at onboarding, but we don't independently audit every case a lawyer handles afterward.
If you believe a lawyer's credentials are misrepresented, report it and we'll investigate and remove the listing if warranted.
You agree not to:
LawyerSpot facilitates the connection between clients and lawyers but is not a party to the legal advice given. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the platform fee paid for the relevant booking.
You can delete your account at any time from the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first go through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ernakulam, Kerala.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page and notify you in-app for any material change.
